William Melnyk’s Story

‘When the judging was completed at the big Edmonton Spring Show last month, no name among the scores of livestock exhibitors was more conspicuous than that of Melnyk. One Melnyk entry won the grand championship in Shorthorn bulls; a Melnyk calf was champion in the baby beef section and reserve grand champion market steer of the show; and another Melnyk entry, Melbar Maxine Jewel, by Killearn Max William, topped her futurity class for Shorthorn heifers and went on to the breed championship and then the interbreed championship for females.’
