‘In 1953 Mr. and Mrs. James C. Alcock of Okotoks, Alberta, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They are a grand pioneer couple that yes have not aged, with a keen sense of humour and outstanding personalities that must have carried them over many hardships in their early days in Southern Alberta, which they still recall with nostalgia.’
