The Canadian Simmental Association (CSA) along with the Manitoba Simmental Association (MSA) have decided to postpone the CSA convention until 2022 as we respect the current Covid-19 situation and resulting regulations in that province.

The CSA will instead hold its 2021 Annual General Meeting via a Zoom electronic format on Saturday July 24th with further information and registration details being made available closer to that date. The Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation (FCSF) Annual General Meeting will also be held at that time as part of the CSA AGM and its fund raising auction will be held online via DLMS. Please watch for more details as they become available. The Young Canadian Simmental Association National Show will be moved to an on-line virtual event similar to last year.

CSA President Marlin LeBlanc states that “the Canadian Simmental Association shares the disappoint felt by the Manitoba Simmental Association in once again having to cancel our plans to meet in Portage La Prairie. We all look forward to 2022 and being able to put on a first class event in Manitoba that our hosts, our membership and our sponsors are all proud to be part of”.
